International Arbiter appointed from Udaipur | Chess in Lake City – UdaipurTimes

World_Chess_Federation, “FIDE” has approved new names for the title of INTERNATIONAL ARBITER with Udaipur’s Chess Master Vikas Sahu being one of the selected ones.  Vikas becomes an International Arbiter for FIFA after Rajendra Teli.

Secretary of Chess in Lakecity, trainer at St Anthony’s School and national instructor trainer Vikas Sahu was appointed International Arbiter by the World Chess Association.  Secretary Rajeev Bhardwaj informed that World Chess Association FIDE meeting concluded in Astana, Kazhakistan, where Vikas Sahu, based on his arbiter role in other tournaments, was given this additional designation.

Vikas Sahu has performed as referee in national tournaments and Grand Master competitions, which has earned him this title.  Ajay Ajmera of the All Rajputana Chess Association, including Ashok Bhardwaj and Yogendra Singh Rathor congratulated Vikas on this achievement.
